The Grim Grotto

"Unless you are a slug, a sea anemone, or mildew, you probably prefer not to be damp."  The Grim Grotto by Lemony Snicket is 323 pages.  The Baudelaire kids board the Queequeg, a ship.  While aboard they meet Captain Widdershins, a mycologist named Fiona, and a optimistic man named Phil.  The Baudelaires and Fiona are sent to find an item that has to do with the mysterious V.F.D.  While exploring, Sunny catches a deadly fungus.  Count Olaf appears and kidnaps the orphans yet again.  Klaus and Violet must cure Sunny and escape from Olaf's clutches.  Will the children be able to cure their little sister in time, or not??????
