I, Queen Jadis, ruler of Charn, absolutely hate this new world called "Narnia."  It just sickens me so much!  I especially hate that brute, the lion, the one who created this horrid world.  This place has some sort of magic better than Charn's but that's not going to stop me in this place!  I will destroy that lion and rule this world of Narnia!!!!     

The Miserable Mill by Lemony Snicket is 194 pages long.  The three Baudelaire orphans are now in Paltryville staying at The Lucky Smells Lumbermill.  Count Olaf is back as Shirley, a receptionist in an optometrist's office.
